Pastor Laura Cooks was anointed from birth to be a chosen vessel of God. In August 1995 she accepted God’s predestined call on her life into the Gospel Ministry. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, God impregnated her Pastor and husband two years later to birth Evangelistic Restoration Church.

Pastor Laura Cooks celebrates 33 years of marriage to Bishop R. Joseph Cooks, Sr. Pastor of  Evangelistic Restoration Church. She is the wonderful mother of three awesome sons, Ronald, Jarred , Josiah.

Pastor Laura Cooks is a graduate of Prairie View A&M, completed 12 hours from the College of Biblical Studies, and presently pursuing her Master’s Degree from the University of St. Thomas. She is also the author of “Your Prayers Do Counts”.

Pastor Laura is the founder of the Pamela Thompson Breast Cancer Foundation, established in October 2009.   PTBCF is a non-profit foundation recognized by the IRS as a 501(c) (3) organization, dedicated to providing economic and social support for families affected by breast cancer.
